Wide angle lenses are great because they allow you to take group photos without having to stand within 30 feet of your group.

Let’s talk about storage. If you’re looking for an iPhone, skip the 64GB models and start with 128GB, unless you’re the type who takes little or no photos or videos and uses no more than five apps. What many users don’t realize is that the apps themselves can take up a lot of storage space.
For example, system files alone on the iPhone 11 Pro Max take up about eight gigabytes of storage space. My iMessages take up about 2GB of space, and I have about 30GB of apps on my phone. This uses about 40 GB before taking a video, photo, or downloading a photo.
On an Android phone, the choice is a little easier because you will have the option of removable storage, so you can start with 64 GB and then buy a 128 GB microSD card. And make sure that your phone stores all your photos by default on removable storage.
How to Choose a Smartphone ? iPhone or Android?
Which is easier: iPhone or Android? My answer: more than you know. Phone companies try to make the user experience as easy as possible. Although each operating system has its own features, it comes down to what you really want.
There are things I love about iOS and Android. For me, one of the downsides to iOS is social sharing. Android gives me multiple options for each platform, right from the share menu. With Instagram, I can share directly to my feed, stories, or direct messages. With iOS, I can only share to my feed directly from the share menu.
With iOS, there is no comparison of interoperability between devices. For example, if you have a MacBook Air, iPhone, and Apple Watch, text messages work seamlessly across all devices. You can easily read and reply to text messages from your laptop or your watch, without having to touch your phone while it’s connected to iCloud.
With Android phones, many people use the entire ecosystem of Google apps and services. Although it has improved over the years on iOS, it still represents a much smoother experience on Android. For example, on an Android phone, if you want to share an image in an email or on social media, you’ll have more options when it comes to accessing Google Photos and Google Drive content that you wouldn’t have on iOS. If you are a heavy user of Google products, the Android experience will definitely be more powerful.
What about wearable technology?
Let’s talk about wearable technology. Are you a consumer of smart watches? My favorite smartphone was the Samsung Galaxy Note, but I switched to the iPhone for the Apple Watch. After reviewing other smartwatches and seeing how Google handles Wear OS, I haven’t tried the Apple Watch yet. I fell in love with the Apple Watch Series 3; Its integration was enough to get me to switch smartwatches.
Another personal favorite is the Samsung Galaxy Gear. To get the most out of that watch, you’ll need a Samsung phone. You can absolutely use it with other Android and iOS devices by downloading the Samsung Gear Manager, but for full access to the watch and its companion software, just like Apple, you’ll have to stick with it.
How do I choose accessories?
How often do you think about accessories before buying a phone? I recently reviewed a phone without aftermarket accessories. It came with a clear case in the box. The truth is that there may or may not be an aftermarket for a particular phone. The phone could be the most amazing phone but if very few people have heard of it, it probably won’t have many accessories to customize it.
If the smartphone that you want to buy is not yet on the market, you will usually not see many accessories. But you can check the registry to see if it is a newer model. If you’re looking at the LG Velvet, for example, take a look at previous LG phones and see the availability of aftermarket accessories. Are there options for the LG G8X ThinQ?
